Panel 1: Anilah’s phone reads a few messages from Caden. He asked where she was at, and she responded that the light rail was running a bit behind schedule. When she did arrive, she messaged that she was approaching the building. Caden responds with their lane number. “They’re at lane 6… Why am I so nervous?” Anilah thought, her mind running wild with anxiety. Panel 2: Anilah looks around nervously again, there is a mural on the back wall and some people heading into the arcade on the west side of the building. Black lights and neon RGB lights fill the arcade and bowling alley, Anilah approaches the front desk as she looks to the east side of the building. She continues to think to herself, “It’s just Caden and…” Panel 3: Multiple people fill the spot Anilah lays her eyes upon. Caden stands there with his back turned, bathed in bright yellow. Another Lady stands there bathed in pink, happily talking with Caden as a blue llight shines down on another friend chills with them, there’s others talking separately, but Caden has brought five others with him. Anilah’s thoughts squeak in shock as she sees those who stand at lane 6. “A couple friends? THAT’S A LOT MORE THAN A COUPLE FRIENDS.” Panel 4: Splash page of Anilah De La Noche facing towards the camera holding her phone looking startled.
